on the road again - an evening with mama & papa bear
today i was invited over to the home of a friend of mine here in wilson. jim and his wife cindy have recently installed an in ground pool and i was to be the first guest invited to swim. jim is the person who i'm shadowing here in wilson to back-up in the event i'm needed. when i arrived at their home i was greeted by jim's stepson justin. justin is down syndrome and requires much if not all of jim and cindy's attention. justin lovingly refers to jim and cindy as mama and papa bear. watching jim and cindy as they interact with justin was a wonderful example of unconditional love. unconditional love ?? Lord help me to be more like mama and papa bear.
