reflections of freedom - family

this week-end karen & I have had the opportunity to have some of our extended family visit us. with both of our children living in other states and not getting to see them as often as we would like, it's always nice when mark, kristyn, spencer & connor can come. today i'm reminded of my father who served in world war II in the european theater (u.s. army air corps) . my dad served and returned to this country to enjoy all the benefits and blessings that he had fought for. just another reason to admire the man who meant so much to me.  today and in the future remember to thank those who serve and who have served .
