the sun that sets on "my" son

my son corry and his wife carly live in alexandria, virginia. i speak to corry almost every day as he drives into the city (washington, d.c.) on his way to work. corry embodies everything i could have ever prayed for in a son. i don't have many regrets in life, but one that surfaces every now and then is my regret that my mom and dad died far too early (my opinion ... not my heavenly fathers) to see what a fine young man their grandson has become. i know you've heard this before but "to know corry is to love corry". corry has conquered every challenge set before him in life, and made me as proud as any father could ever be. i think i know how jacob must have felt when rachel had joseph and they discovered what a fine man he had become .  i love you son ... thank you Lord
