3159 west 11th street, cleveland ohio ... For those of you who are fans of "a christmas story" movie this is probably a familiar address. today my daughter christy and i made the 1 hour drive to visit this movie shrine. over the years the home had fallen into disrepair but, about two years ago it was purchased and restored. most if not all of the familiar objects that were part of the movie are there. the famous leg lamp as well as the red rider bb-gun are proudly displayed. a home across the the street has been converted to a museum and there in an adjacent garage is the car that was also in the movie. if you're a fan of this christmas classic you'll want to stop by when you're in the area.
