A couple of years ago at a family reunion auction, we purchased two day lilies from Karen's niece. I used a pic of this one in full bloom last year in a blog entry titled "A Pure Heart". Today as Karen and I were working outside preparing the flower beds for the coming summer growing season, I longingly looked at my favorite lily which is coming along nicely. It doesn't look like much now but some day soon it will be a beautiful reminder of God's creative power and His desire for us to blossom. 1 John 3:2 'Beloved now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear, what we shall be:but we know that, when He shall appear,we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.'

The Lilies Are Coming ...

what a great thought for this spring season. and i love that something from the auction lives on, and blesses lives in the process.
